Enabel is the Belgian Development Agency. It fulfills any public service mission that falls within the framework of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, in Belgium and abroad.
Enabel's actions in the area of education and vocational training focus in particular on improving the quality of primary and secondary education through teacher training, reform of study programs, pedagogical renewal (for example , digitization of education) and the introduction of a student-centered pedagogical approach, aimed at making them active players in the learning process.
Their interventions aim to structurally improve education and training. To this end, they strengthen the bodies of the sector so that they are better equipped to design policy, as well as to plan, manage and monitor education. This always takes place in partnership with the relevant ministries and local stakeholders.
