The National Employers Council of Mali (CNPM) was created on January 25, 1980 under the name of "National Federation of Employers of Mali (FNEM)" during a General Assembly of Employers' Associations of Mali under the presidency of the Minister of Labor and Public Service in the presence of the Minister of Finance and Trade.
The CNPM is a Union of Employers 'Groups, it is therefore the fruit of the desire of Employers' Groups and Associations to come together within a Central Organization. It also responds to the Government's concern to have in front of it a single point of contact for the private sector. The CNPM is essentially responsible for the organization and preservation of the private sector.
