The Vocational and Technical Training Fund, commonly known as 3FPT, is a public utility structure set up by the Government of Senegal to provide a concrete response to the capacity building needs of the private sector and to the problem of employability of young people.
Thus, the main mission of the 3FPT is to finance training projects for the staff of companies and members of professional organizations, training structures and young people seeking qualifications.
To broaden the map of vocational and technical training and refocus the training offer, 3FTP provides technical and financial support to vocational and technical training establishments. This support translates into the financing of relevant integration training projects developed according to the economic potential of each locality. The aim is to enable young people living in remote areas to access skills training. It is with this in mind that the 3FPT has set up territorial poles in the Center, South, East and West areas.
