The National Office for Professional Training and Development - ONFPP

The National Office for Professional Training and Development (ONFPP) is a public administrative establishment with legal personality and financial autonomy. It is placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Technical Education, Vocational Training, Employment and Labor. The headquarters of the office are in Conakry.

The National Office for Professional Training and Development is responsible for carrying out training and in-service training in the mixed, para-public and private sectors and apprenticeship in the informal sector of the economy. He's charged :

• Participate in the application of government policy on vocational training and development and apprenticeship,
• To ensure the organization and control of learning throughout the national territory,
• To assist Companies in determining their training needs and in drawing up the corresponding training plans,
• To ensure the organization and control of learning throughout the national territory and in all sectors of activity,
• To participate in improving the skills of the Guinean workforce by setting up and carrying out training, development and professional qualification programs for working workers, job seekers and young people who have dropped out of school. ,
• To orient young people seeking training and job seekers towards employment opportunities and corresponding to their levels and needs,
• To promote the creation of training, professional development and learning organizations and to coordinate the said organizations.
