Recruitment of a consultant in vocational training (medium term)

IIEP Pole de Dakar is recruiting a consultant for its Platform of Expertise in Vocational Training (Pefop) to assist partner countries in implementing the activities of the Programmes for contributing to the operationalization of vocational training reforms (Procor).

The consultation is scheduled to last 11 months from 1 February 2018.

In summary:

Procors are action plans through which the IIEP-Pole de Dakar supports beneficiary countries.

The consultant will be required to participate in activities carried out in partner countries to support them:

  •     in the design and implementation of Validation of Experience Acquired Assets (VAE) systems
  •     in the development and implementation of systems and tools for steering vocational training

In addition, the consultant must contribute:

  •     the development of methodological tools and materials related to the implementation of the renewed vocational training policies;
  •     the development of training in management and piloting of vocational training for African managers;
  •     sectoral analysis and identification/update of obstacles to the implementation of education and training policies;
  •     networking and experience sharing activities;
  •     activities to support the development and implementation of the UEMOA platform for pooling resources and tools in vocational training
