Our Partners

Among the main partners we can note:

  • The International Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (UNESCO-UNEVOC), to strengthen networking in West Africa, support innovation and strengthen French-speaking African actors in leadership for TVET.
     
  • With the African Development Bank (AfDB), in technical support for the implementation of the Youth Training and Employment Support Project (PAFEJ) in Mauritania, and by developing a component of the support project of the AfDB at the Regional Training Center for Road Maintenance (CERFER) of the Conseil de l'Entente based in Togo.
     
  • With the Institute for Training and Education of La Francophonie (IFEF) of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), on the production of methodological documents relating to support for vocational training policies such as actors and partners for TVET, the implementation of PCA in Africa .... but also to organize thematic sharing workshops also with LuxDev (see below).
     
  • With the Luxembourg Cooperation Agency (LuxDev) and the IFEF, to co-organize regional workshops for sharing and mutual reinforcement on themes such as public-private partnerships in the field of vocational training in Africa, in March 2018 or the quality of the management of training systems to enhance the training-employment transition for young people in Africa (Nairobi, June 2019). In addition, collaborations with LuxDev offices in Sahel countries are also being developed, such as in Mali or Senegal.
     
  • With the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), in particular to support the pooling of vocational training resources, the promotion of good practices and the strengthening of vocational training players and systems in Africa.
     
  • With the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA), to support certain activities of its consultation framework of ministers in charge of employment and vocational training (CCMEFP), in particular the development of the Platform for the pooling of vocational training tools and resources.

IIEP-UNESCO Dakar is also developing privileged relations and regular exchanges with a view to carrying out collaborative actions with specialized networks of vocational training in Africa:

In addition, IIEP-UNESCO Dakar is also exploring the possibility of developing partnerships with various technical and financial partners such as the International Labor Organization (ILO) at the multilateral level, and TFPs particularly involved in the field of TVET. in Africa such as the Belgian Development Agency (Enabel) or the German International Cooperation (GIZ) at bilateral level.
