The International Network for Agricultural and Rural Training (FAR) was born from the will of professionals gathered in Ouagadougou in 2005 during the conference on "mass training in rural areas, an element of reflection for the definition of a national policy".

The aim of the Network is to create rural employment and promote remunerative and sustainable agriculture. It is currently made up of 17 member countries (Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Haiti, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, Central African Republic, Senegal, Chad, Togo, Tunisia).

The network is open to all countries and all partners involved in agricultural and rural training issues.
